LiveLink Technology, Inc., provider of online and in-store photo services for Walmart, CEWE and others, announced it has entered into a patent license agreement with Monument Peak Ventures (MPV), a subsidiary of the patent transaction and advisory company Dominion Harbor Enterprises, for the MPV Kodak digital imaging portfolio. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
MPV acquired the Kodak digital-imaging portfolio of nearly 4,000 patent assets in 2017. LiveLink now joins the ranks of global imaging leaders like Nokia and Parrot, with a license to the Kodak portfolio which spans across various technologies, including autonomous vehicles, feature recognition, camera and optical component manufacturing, medical imaging, smartphones, social photo sharing, and eCommerce.
“We are pleased to complete this license agreement with MPV,” said David Youngs, co-founder of LiveLink. “The Kodak digital imaging portfolio represents years of research and investment in digital imaging, and we look forward to utilizing all this innovation as we develop new technology for our growing client base.”
